Anita Gopalan is the recipient of a Fellowship in English Literature from the Ministry of Culture. She is also a PEN/Heim Translation Fund Grant awardee. Her translated poetry chapbook “The Memory of Now” published by Anomalous Press is forthcoming in 2019. Her work has appeared in Poetry International, Words without Borders, Two Lines Journal, World Literature Today, Asymptote, PEN America, RHINO Poetry, Modern Poetry in Translation, and elsewhere.
